Liebe feministische Radiomacher_innen,
wie Du vielleicht bereits gehört hast, finden die diesjährigen feministischen Radiotage – Claim the Waves – als digitale Edition statt. Begleitend dazu planen wir 48 Stunden feministisches Radioprogramm on air – dafür suchen wir Beiträge!
Das Radioprogramm soll im Zusammenhang mit den geplanten Webinaren stehen, deshalb gibt es vier Überthemen. Das sind keine strengen Guidelines, die Beiträge können sich auch mit einem ganz anderen Thema befassen. Alle Sendungsformate, von Live-Diskussionen über Musikmagazine bis hin zu Kunstradio sind willkommen, soweit sie einen Bezug zu feministischen Themen haben.
1) Feministischer Journalismus
Welche Formen des feministischen Journalismus gibt es? Und wie zeichnen sich diese aus? Diesen Fragen widmen sich Programm und Webinare, die sich mit feministischem Storytelling, Podcasts und anderen journalistischen Formaten aus feministischer und interkultureller Sicht auseinandersetzen.
2) Feministisches Storytelling: Perspektiven auf Gewalt
In diesem Schwerpunkt sollen feministische Perspektiven zu Gewalt behandelt werden. Es wird um Berichterstattung über Gewalt an Frauen gehen – anhand von guten und schlechten Beispielen, um Storytelling, um strukturelle Gewalt und um die Frage nach dem Bezug zur aktuellen Krise.
3) Vernetzung und Protest – on air & everywhere
Praktiken des feministischen Radioaktivismus: Wie wird er gelebt? Wie wird er gemacht? Der Fokus liegt auf den Themen Vernetzung und Protest – aus aktueller und historischer Perspektive.
4) Claim the Stage – Feminismus und Musik
Portraits von Künstler_innen die uns bewegen, empowernde Musikmixes um die Nacht durch zu feiern, Live-Konzerte und Interviews mit unseren liebsten feministischen Künstler_innen, feministische Auflegerei on air: Für all das (und noch viel mehr) gibt es hier Platz.

Call for Contributions – Claim the Waves online & on air
Dear feminist radio editors,
you might have already heard that the feminist radiodays – Claim the Waves – will take place as an online edition this year. Right now we‘re planning an exciting on-air programme for the 10. and 11. july that will accompany the online workshops. The goal is to create 48 hours of feminist on-air programme – with your help!
As the on-air programme is connected to the webinars and digital open spaces we chose four themes concerning feminist radio-editing. However it‘s also possible to choose a topic that‘s completely different. All kinds of radio shows are welcome – from live-discussions to music magazines or experimental pieces – as long as they have a connection to feminist issues.
1) Feminist Journalism
Which kinds of feminist journalism are there? And what characterises them? Our online and on-air programme will follow up on those questions, investigating formats such as storytelling or podcasts from a feminist and intercultural perspective.
2) Feminist Storytelling: perspectives on gender-based violence
We‘re aiming to broach the issue of gender-based violence from a feminist perspective. How does media coverage on that topic look like and what should it look like? The focus will be media coverage on violence against women, on storytelling, on structural violence and the significance of those questions in the context of the current pandemic.
3) Networking and Political Movements – on air & everywhere
Current and historic perspectives on feminist radio-activism: Which practices are there and used to be there in the past? What characterises feminist radio-activism and where do we see it‘s future?
4) Claim the Stage – Feminism and Music
Portraits of musicians that move us, empowering playlists to dance through the night to, live concerts and interviews with our favourite feminist acts: We‘re looking for all of that – and so much more.
